The Project is OPEN to artists in a western regional area encompassing Nevada, California, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Arizona with experience in public art projects.
The City of Reno Arts & Culture Commission, in collaboration with The Reno Downtown Rotary, is seeking sculpture for purchase and installation in Bicentennial Park, immediately east of Ralston Street between First Street and the Truckee River, in downtown Reno.
Goals of this project include: transforming a park into a home for a permanent sculpture exhibition; increase public awareness of art; broaden viewers’ perspectives of public spaces within the City, and foster a sense of place in a highly visible area along the Truckee River.
